About us

The Hummel Hostel is the ideal accommodation for school groups, families, solo travelers and backpackers who want to experience Weimar’s culture and history up close!

It is located right in the historic city center, in the immediate vicinity of the German National Theater. Many sights are within walking distance, as well as the university and college.

The hostel has single, double and shared rooms with shared bathrooms on the floor. Our rooms can be booked exclusively as private and family rooms (no foreign guests in the room). Upon request, groups and families can rent the entire house for their sole use. A kitchenette (with limited cooking facilities), a dining room and a comfortable lounge with W-Lan complete the offer. In addition, a very spacious garden with terrace barbecue facilities invites you to relax after long sightseeing tours.

At the Hummel Hostel you can book individual rooms, a floor or the whole house for yourself and/or your group.

The winter season is over, and we are all looking forward to spring.

The first harbingers of spring are already here, and Weimar is already well visited.

There are still some last-minute offers available for March.

As an event tip for April, we recommend the Easter market from 12 to 13 April.

Thanks to our location right in the city centre, guests are only a short walk away – ideal for last-minute travellers!
